Centrifugal fans are widely used for ventilation, dust removal and cooling in factories, mines, tunnels, cooling towers, vehicles, ships and buildings; ventilation and induced draft in boilers and industrial furnaces and kilns; cooling and ventilation in air-conditioning equipment and household electrical appliances; drying and conveying of grains; and inflation and propulsion of wind tunnels and hovercrafts.       Working Principle   Centrifugal fan is based on the principle of conversion of kinetic energy into potential energy, using high-speed rotation of the impeller to accelerate the gas, and then decelerate, change the direction of flow, so that the kinetic energy is converted into potential energy (pressure). In a single-stage centrifugal fan, the gas enters the impeller in the axial direction, changes to the radial direction as it flows through the impeller, and then enters the diffuser. In the diffuser, the change in flow direction and the increase in cross-sectional area of the pipe decelerate the flow, which converts kinetic energy into pressure energy. This deceleration converts kinetic energy into pressure energy. The pressure increase occurs mainly in the impeller and to a lesser extent in the diffuser process. In multistage centrifugal fans, a return flow is used to move the gas flow to the next impeller, generating higher pressures.       Performance characteristics   The centrifugal fan is essentially a variable flow, constant pressure device. The theoretical pressure-flow curve of a centrifugal fan should be a straight line when the rotational speed is constant. Due to internal losses, the actual characteristic curve is curved. The pressure generated in a centrifugal fan is strongly influenced by changes in inlet air temperature or density. For a given intake air volume,^ the pressure generated at intake air temperature (air density^) ^ . When the blower is operated at a constant speed, for a given flow rate, the power required increases with decreasing inlet temperature.       Precautions   1、Emergency shutdown: In the process of test operation of the unit, in the event of one of the following circumstances, an emergency shutdown should be immediately. The oil pressure is lower than the alarm value and can not be restored to normal.   e. The oil tank level is low, and there is a phenomenon of suction emptying.   f. Shaft displacement value shows obvious continuous growth and reaches the alarm value.       2、Normal shutdown: The unit is shut down normally according to the following procedures.   a. Gradually open the bleeder valve (or outlet bypass valve), and gradually close the exhaust valve.   b. Gradually close the inlet throttle to 20~25°. c. Press the stop button.   c. Press the stop button and pay attention to whether there is any abnormality during the stopping process.   d. The oil supply can be stopped after the unit stops for 5~10min, or when the bearing temperature drops below 45℃. When the main shaft and axial tile are assembled, they should be inspected according to the provisions of the technical documents of the equipment. Generally, equipment should be manufactured and shipped to match site preparation so that the dust collector can be installed directly upon reaching the site. However, there are many situations where the dust collector is purchased and manufactured, and transported to the owner's site, but there is no way to match the installation and plant downtime, and the availability of the engineering team for the installation does not fit with the plant downtime. This situation results in the dust collector being left on site for a month or even half a year. If this is the case, please follow the following procedure to protect the dust collector.       1. Cover the opening   The dust collector will be delivered to the site or plant with all openings completely sealed up and fastened together as tightly as possible. Typically, openings will be covered with plywood, plastic. If the dust collector needs to be moved, make sure that all these covers should remain intact. When storing the unit for placement, any unprotected openings should be plugged or covered to prevent rain, snow and other moisture from entering the interior of the dust collector. This can be accomplished with plastic wrap, plastic plugs, or wooden covers, depending on the size of the opening.       2. Store the equipment in a controlled environment   If possible, the dust collector enclosure, auxiliary components and accessories should be stored in a controlled environment with indoor temperature and humidity. For extended periods of storage (more than one month), place desiccant inside any electrical enclosures to prevent humid air from damaging electronic components. If adequate indoor storage space is not available, dust collector components, bags, bag cages, etc. should be stored indoors or in a dry, fully enclosed trailer or shed. Dust collector housings and larger components may be stored outdoors in a protective shed or supported on shelves and covered with a tarpaulin.       3. Other painted supports should also be protected   Structural steel supports, frame steelwork, handrails, and platform sections will be shipped as separate components as described in the unit bill of materials. All steel will be painted as specified in the contract. Paint will provide adequate surface protection over a period of time. As a general rule, all equipment is finished painted so it is resistant to metal erosion. However, materials such as support steel are usually stored on their sides and rain/snow/dirt may collect on horizontal surfaces. These can accelerate potential corrosion, particularly because of the extended contact time between the surface and moisture. If prolonged storage is required, support and access steel should be carefully stored and protected, especially during seasonal changes or severe inclement weather.       4. Remember to check regularly   All equipment stored outdoors should be inspected periodically to monitor the integrity of the equipment and the condition of painted surfaces. Any cracks in the covering should be repaired immediately. Dust collectors, auxiliary equipment, or any areas on supporting steel members that collect water or debris should be braced to minimize the possibility of future problems. These areas can be supported with wood, other steel members, etc. Like a camping tent, there are poles or beams that secure a center to keep rainwater from running off the top to ^ where it may eventually leak inside.       5.
